Kim Victoria Cattrall is an Canadian actor of the English nationality born August 21st 1956. Her best known character in the role was Samantha Jones, in the HBO series Sex and the City. Sex and the City has earned its five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. In 2002 she won the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. The role was reprised in the film Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her leading roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. She was best known for portraying Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013).
